After becoming the first DC8 to touch down in Scotland, for the first time in 8 years in 2020, the Samaritans Purse DC8 has been passing through Prestwick fairly regularly ever since. Here it is departing back to the US, after a humanitarian mission to Poland. It was taking aid for Ukrainian refugees. who have been fleeing Ukraine, due to Russia’s ongoing Invasion. Great to see the DC8 pass through Prestwick again, but sadly it’s for all the wrong reasons.
