This webinar introduces the learners to perinatal loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, and termination. The five stages of grief are described in detail. Recommendations for ways health care professionals can provide support for both mothers and fathers are covered. A brief overview of the Partnership’s Fetal Infant Mortality Review program is presented and resources for both families and professionals (including brochures, local and online support groups, and the Partnership’s Emotional Health Phone Support line) are shared.
