Former Vice President Joe Biden promised to beat President Donald Trump and unite the country if he is chosen as the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee. We need “a president who is not only ready to fight, but to heal this country,” Biden said. He spoke in Iowa on Feb. 3 as results were coming in from the caucuses that kicked off the first round of voting in th 2020 presidential contest.
