In this video we will look back to October 3rd, 2009 when I had my final amateur fight before turning professional. I headlined the local card and Darren Till, future UFC star, fought as the co-main event.
Both fights were for ISKA World Titles although Till's fight was the youth title as he was under 18 years old.
The event, Quest for the Title, was promoted by my father. He started the promotion so I could fight more frequently and also build my career by fighting the best amateur's around the world. He also brought in very high level fighters for the other local talent who proved themselves.
Quest for the Title brought in athletes from Australia, Romania, France, U.S, Trinidad, across Canada, and of course England because of Darren Till.
