In today’s video, I’m sharing with you guys what happened to my skin as I rubbed a green tea ice cube on it everyday for one week. As you guys know, I’ve recently started using a regular ice cube on my face and the results have been amazing. I wanted to take that concept a step further and try it with green tea since green tea has so many benefits for your skin when ingested and when applied topically.

Throughout this video, I used the green tea ice cubes in the morning after washing my face. I always started out washing my face with the Youth To The People superfood facial cleanser. Then, after using the green tea ice cube and patting my skin dry, I applied jojoba oil. Also, on day 6, I actually tried using the ice cube at night after oil cleansing. This is another skincare practice that I’ve recently started trying. It has such amazing benefits for your skin, so I wanted to try it in combination with the green tea ice cube.

Additionally, I’d just like to clarify that before using the green tea ice cube on my face, I let it melt a bit or I run it under hot water. This helps to make the process less abrasive on my skin. Essentially it ends up being like I’m rubbing cold water on my face instead of a frozen ice cube. Also I never leave the ice cube on the same spot on my face, I keep it moving constantly. If not, I could potentially burn my face. Letting the ice cube melt a bit beforehand also helps to avoid irritation on my skin.

So, if you want to try this, please be careful! This will not work for everyone!
