This is a NotebookLM "video" slideshow about Dan Schroeder's 2D Lennard-Jones on-line molecular dynamics simulator at at https://physics.weber.edu/schroeder/md/, which illustrates the emergence of a wide range of physical processes (like phase changes, heat transfer, irreversibility, etc.) from very simple rules which contain none of thse things.
The system is designed so that you can set up experiments, and record data for download and followup analysis. It also has a number of previously made presets, like the heat transfer between solids at different temperatures shown in a thumbnail screenshot, for you to experiment with. The hot atoms are redder than cold ones.
Caution: As usual with large language models, lack of precision accompanies perhaps unexpected connections.
