In April 2025, Sweet Patootee Arts commissioned award winning choir directors and musicians Ethno Vox (Colin and CeCelia Anderson) to deliver a series of free Caribbean folk singing workshops at London’s iconic Tramshed Arts Centre in Woolwich, for our programme of partner-led arts and Black heritage activities.
The last of these workshops was a public sharing event for Emancipation Day (1st August); performing songs learned and rehearsed over the previous weeks to an invited audience for the first time.
