Nearly 60 million South Africans live in extreme poverty

As the world marks International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, around half of South Africa's nearly 60-million people live below the bread line. According to Statistics South Africa, one in two South Africans now have to survive on less than 80-US Dollars a month. CGTN Correspondent Rene Del Carme reports from Cape Town, where authorities are working hard to try and lift many of the country's estimated 200-thousand homeless people out of extreme poverty.
