Lisa Marie Presley was almost assuredly best known for being the one and only child of the late, great Elvis Presley. But did you know that if it hadn’t been for both her and her mother Priscilla’s stewardship of the Presley Trust we might not have as much to remember Elvis by? It’s true – in fact, it’s thanks to the two of them that Graceland is still the landmark it is today. Elvis originally bought the home that his daughter Lisa Marie would come to spend her earliest years in 1957 when he was still only 22 years old. At the time, he paid a paltry $102,500, with half that amount being paid in cash and the other half being a trade-in with his previous house. In March 2020, Lisa Marie Presley bought a new property for herself in the California city of Calabasas for $1.8 Million. Set on a cul-de-sac within a guard-gated community, this vaguely Mediterranean-style stucco house was constructed in 1989 and sits amongst a litany of other similar-looking homes.
