Hi everyone and welcome to today's video! Today on Starter Sunday, we will be talking about Card Blank Sizes and Card Thicknesses (gsm) available in card stock available online and in store.

Below will be information on cards that I have mentioned in the video below and links to stockists that I would normally shop in for card stock and card blanks.

As a note, I usually use as a base card at 270gsm or 300gsm thick cardstock to make the base stronger - this is only for flat cards, or cards that require one layer of dimension. With lots of layers for card, I would use a gsm that is far lower, possibly at between 200gsm to 220gsm - just so that the card is not heavy and doesn't tip over when you stand this up. Layering with card can be used with a gsm card stock is 180gsm to 200gsm.

All card choices are based through personal preferences, so if you're happy to craft with card that is lower gsm, or higher gsm and different from what I have chosen, that's absolutely fine - it's just dependant on what card you prefer.
