Because women had babies and nursed them, they naturally did tasks closer to camp. Men, generally stronger, were better at hunting which required traveling far from camp. These differences weren't about one gender being better, but about what helped the group survive. Over time, these roles became traditions and expectations, passed down through generations, and even though things have changed today with technology, the effects of those old patterns still influence us.
