ThyssenKrupp MRL Elevators - Changi Airport Terminal 2, SG (Lift 26 & 27)

Two scenic elevators which goes between the transit mall (departure halls) and immigration checkpoint. These were newly installed in 2004 as part of the terminal's major upgrading works from 2003 to 2005 and although unbranded, they are indeed ThyssenKrupp as their motor bears the ThyssenKrupp logo. The way the floor button light goes off as soon as the elevator reaches the next floor is also a ThyssenKrupp characteristic. Things have changed since they were installed; the old wide LED dot matrix floor indicators have been replaced with generic LCD displays, a new generic arrival chime has been added, and most recently all the buttons have been replaced into generic touchless buttons. Lift 27 is better because apart from having an all glass shaft, it still has its original chime and voice announcement.
