This was an awesome trip on train 5 the westbound Amtrak California Zephyr from Chicago, Illinois to Reno, Nevada! I got to experience the entire journey through 6 states on one of Amtrak’s most scenic route, the California Zephyr! On this train we go through cities such as Galesburg, IL, Ottumwa, IA, Omaha, NE, Denver, CO, Grand Junction, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, and finally, Reno, NV. On this trip on one of Amtrak’s most scenic routes, I stayed in a Superliner Bedroom! I got to experience the food onboard in the dining car and my room with Amtrak’s traditional dining menu, I got to take a shower onboard, stepping off at fresh air stops, and show all the scenic and amazing views this train has to offer! In this video I will give you a detailed tour of the Superliner Bedroom, showing you all of the room and what it has included! Along with that I also will give a tour of the train, including the dining car and the sightseer lounge car! So come along with me on one of Amtrak’s most scenic routes getting to see 6 whole states and 2,202 miles of railroad across the United States of America in an Amtrak Superliner Bedroom!
