Tour of Heho Airport | Gateway to Inle Lake | Myanmar

Heho is the gateway to Inle Lake and Kalaw, a hillvstation and has former colonial town.

The arrival and departure are in two separate buildings in two compounds next to each other. The transfer between the plane and the buildings is on foot. The luggages are carried on carts. The arrival is pretty much of a hall type. The waiting area, the immigration/information counters and luggage collection are together except a few rooms allocated for quarantine and immigration officials. There are several ATMs and information counter

The departure building is older and opened in 1992. It used to serve both departure and arrival.

This touring video is taken in early 2019. The Heho Airport has secured a 40mil USD$ Upgrading Work which will be carried out in two phases. Hope this tour video is helpful for the time being for the visitors.
