David Jason On Desert Island Discs with Sue Lawley 1994 A Perfick Christmas!

Del Boy aka Sir David Jason stay on the desert island this time, where reflects back on his life and his career. He talks about the price of laughter one Christmas day which he had to bare in the early days of his career. He talks about his feelings for Monthy Python and his preference to keep a low profile when out and about in public. However, he does have the odd encounter with some over zealous fans on occasion. He is a practical man, likes working with his hands and likes to keep busy. I did see him once at Wellesbourne airfield some years ago in the cafe there, but I didnt speak to him, it was nice to see him actually. I have made some minor edits, added some extra music and some video from his work to illustrate some of the interview. Sir David Jason is one of our national treasures and it's a beautiful, honest and frank interview with him, lovely jubbly! You know it makes sense!!
