The "Last" Porsche 911: Super Carrera

The year is 1980. Porsche is having their worst year ever.
Looking for a way forward, the brand decides to discontinue the already decade old family of vehicles, the 911, and shuffle in the new age of the 928. With plans to discontinue the 911 by 1982, shuffling leadership in the brand ultimately saw a large return to profit by 1982 and decided to invest into developing the NEW 911, which was brought to market in 1984.
Luckily, the 911 family has stuck around to this day; and Porsche continues to bring driver-focused cars to automotive enthusiasts worldwide!

This 1980 911SC was to be the last model of 911 brought to market.
What was once a send-off to model from a brand in decline is now an iconic mark in the history of this automotive powerhouse.
