Once again, one of my most favorite songs, "I wish you Love", a French popular song, with music by Léo Chauliac and Charles Trenet and lyrics by Charles Trenet. This song was first recorded in 1942, but it was introduced to America in 1957 by vocalist Keely Smith. I learned it in Daytona Beach, Florida in 1964 from a female vocalist, "Birdie", who said I should have it in my repertoire. She was absolutely right, and this song has been a much-requested tune for me, over the years. "Life is Good", when someone who really knew the music business helped me along the way. God bless+ Birdie, and everyone like her. There were many along the path to my career. Big Hammond sounds, Bossa-Nova rhythms, and lush chords for pure joy. Happy Wednesday, 4/13/2022. 🎹😎🌴
