VEIN | Episode 4 - "Cat & Mouse" | Can I Survive?

Welcome back to The Rat’s Nest! In today’s VEIN survival episode, we’re deep in the chaos of Dannemora — wounded, exhausted, and being chased through the streets by an entire horde. Our survivor, Karen Boss, is scratched up, bandaged, and barely holding it together while trying to make it back to the RV at the fire station. And as usual in VEIN… nothing goes according to plan.

We sneak through boarded-up trap houses, loot abandoned homes, dodge runners, raid garages, and search desperately for painkillers, better gear, and — please, for the love of all that is holy — a firearm. Every corner of town is packed with danger: crackhouses filled with junk, firefighters’ corpses, and neighborhoods crawling with zombies fueled by pure chaos.

Just when things calm down, an entire horde cuts off our escape. Our backpack gets destroyed, our weapon breaks, and even hotwiring a mail truck becomes a life-or-death gamble as we desperately try to relocate the firehouse where the RV is stashed.

We eventually find safety, grab some much-needed sleep, and prepare for the next big target:
the massive Dannemora prison.
