SOLIDWORKS Tips & Tricks | Creating Segments of Sketch Entity
Select the entity that you want to break into equal
segments. Preview of segment will be displayed.
• By default, the Sketch points radio button is selected in
the Property Manager and hence the points are created
on the line at equal distance. Select the Sketch segments
radio button to create segments of entity in place of only
points.
• Set the number of segments in the spinner displayed in
Property Manager.
• Click on the OK button from the Property Manager to
create the segments/point
