Queer Erasure Through Localization

Whenever a world is brought to a new territory, especially if it needs to in some way be translated to a new language, it's going to undergo some degree of localization. Localization is making adjustment to stories and characters so that they can be better understood by the new audience. And unfortunately sometimes this includes the removal of queer themes and character traits.
