This rescued baby walrus requires 24/7 care, and team members from walrus care organizations around the U.S. have come together to make sure she’s set up for success. 🦭
She is currently at Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Alaska and is working with their team as well as their partners from the Indianapolis Zoo, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, Seaworld, and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. 💕
Because walruses are highly tactile and social creatures, part of her care plan includes being close to her so she has someone to cuddle up with! ❤️
The @Alaska SeaLife Center will continue to provide updates on this collaborative effort to give the baby walrus her best possible life. 🌊
