Residents and concerned visitors of Rincon, Puerto Rico have been protesting the destruction of natural areas that have been in the path of a proposed asphalt bike road and wall that would connect the lighthouse to the plaza. There have been protests on site, in front of town hall and even a major march where about 2000 people of all backgrounds and ages walked some of the proposed path.
