ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa delivered the January 8 statement at the Doctor Petrus Molemela stadium in Mangaung in the Bloemfontein. The January eight statement is part of the ANC's 111th-anniversary celebrations.
Due to factionalism that has plagued the ANC for many years, the party's top seven have been highlighting the ANC's desire to renew itself since the party's 55th national conference at Nasrec, Johannesburg last month.
The ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa has also highlighted the importance of honouring those who sacrificed their lives for South Africa's democracy.
