Toontown Rewritten - ToonFest 2025 - Clear Coasts Playtest

Here's what we've all been waiting for - an alpha playtest of the anticipated Clear Coasts playground!

I'm impressed at how much work was done on it for an alpha build. Hopefully we'll get more progress blog posts before ToonFest 2026.

Initial reactions:
I was surprised that they didn't include Snooze Square in this playtest, considering they had an alpha build of that street at ToonFest 2023. It's cool to see where the street tunnels are in the playground, although they are subject to change locations.
ToonFest 2025 attendees had the opportunity to design a surfboard or beach towel to be included as props in the designated placeholder areas. Maybe we can make designs for the floaties also.
There are numerous unique extra details that make Clear Coasts almost like a Toontown 2 playground; the 3D windows are a prime example.
The buoy line is a clever design choice for an invisible wall rather than just having the playground cut off. I don't recall seeing this in any Toontown server until now.
The beach floaty activity should recharge your laff faster. It would be neat seeing doodles swim next to you!
Lemon slices are an interesting choice for the playground treasure. Although I think they could be more refined; their texture looks somewhat pizza-shaped.
I'm more intrigued to see what their plans are for making Clear Coasts a recreational playground, and I think the Beach Dance Floor is the starting point for it. I also noticed the hints they provide for the dance moves since there were never any written guides for their combinations.
The colors are overall vibrant and fit well with the beach theme. It definitely hits the mark on being a Riviera-inspired playground. The hand-drawn sketch lines on the cafe give a very "old" Disney animation feel, but I'm sure these textures are temporary and will be refined in the live release.

I'm still unsure as to how they are going to make Tenor Terrace a forked street, but I'm interested to see how that will look once it's fleshed out. I've seen suggestions say to add a Goofy Speedway street that connects to Clear Coasts, and I am fully on board with that idea.
