Preparing Deck Ledgers, Flashing's, and Penetrations in an EIFS Stucco System

EIFS Stucco is a unique building envelope system using a fluid applied membrane as an exterior air barrier. The Best part is that there are no mechanical fasteners, which is the best way of keeping water out of your building. I show you the Kody method of preparing all the detail work before the stucco takes place. Deck ledgers, drip caps and wall penetrations are the hardest part of any exterior finish and this is how I think it should be done.
