VLOGMAS 2025 Nov Trim check: My Hair is Thinning

Let's get a trim.

The recent trim check this November has raised some concerns. My hair is thinning. We can do a salon visit and then a commentary video. These videos will debut during VLOGMAS.

Many of you have noticed my absence on YouTube and Instagram lately. The past five months have been quite stressful, and I have been reflecting on how this stress would eventually reveal itself. Unfortunately, those changes have manifested in my hair. I usually don’t consider myself an emotional person. I don’t typically experience weight fluctuations, spend my days in bed, eat more than usual, or shut people out. I realize it’s crucial for me to find effective ways to manage my stress, and I've been thinking about taking up ballet again. I also encourage yall to have your health levels checked; this thinning has occurred in just five months.

I want to share most of the footage for several reasons:
I have always been open and honest with yall and I intend to continue that transparency.
I believe both good and bad experiences are worth sharing. There is someone experiencing the same thing and may need encouragement
As I’ve mentioned before, there’s currently a disconnect between clients and stylists in our community. Many of you have expressed how much you appreciate the relationship I have with Ms. Shondra, particularly her communication style and gentle approach to my hair.
I want you to fully experience our relationship. There were moments when we forgot the camera was even there. My stylist was genuinely trying to help me, and she took the time to do so (I was there for at least 2.5 hours).
It's likely that I have low iron and a vitamin D deficiency, and combined with high stress levels, this may explain my hair problems. I've been experiencing symptoms of these deficiencies, attributing them to being busy with running a company and life changes.
We have developed a plan that I will follow once I schedule my doctor’s appointment.
