This film documents the process of harvesting, pounding, and weaving black ash. A group of Odawa from Little Traverse Bay, Michigan travel to Beaver Island where the emerald ash borer has been delayed in its invasion. The group harvests 2 ash trees and brings them back to the mainland to practice a centuries old tradition that is endangered of disappearing.
