In Defense of Kingdom Hearts (re)Chain of Memories

Is Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories simply just a spin off? Trust me there's more to it than that!
I want to explain the importance of chain of memories, and why it's one NOT to skip!

There is so much more going for this game than what appears on the surface that I feel is crucial to the kingdom hearts experience and the story as a whole.
I know most Kingdom hearts fans don't enjoy this game for its combat, but I still find it enjoyable, and the story is definitely a standout for the series.

Maybe I'm weird, but I think chain of memories is fun, it's definitely hard and annoying though lol

In this video I discuss (albeit a bit emotionally) on why, in my opinion, Kingdom Hearts re:Chain of Memories is a good game, and why you shouldn't miss out during a first series playthrough.

Chain of Memories is not a spin off, it leads so well into Kingdom Hearts 2 and is a must watch at least. The remake also looks great and makes the transition much easier to deal with.

Chain of memories is a very important piece of the story that does get referred back to in future games, even Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts 3!

I'll just say that Kingdom Hearts re: chain of memories is absolutely necessary and definitely worth playing for the story (or at least revisiting later on)!
