Thenmozhi Soundararajan, a Dalit civil rights activist and founder of Equality Labs, was to address a Google News diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) talk on caste for Dalit History Month. Google cancelled that talk after some employees claimed their own lives were “at risk” because of the discussion.
Equality Labs, the organization founded by caste equity activist, Thenmozhi Soundararajan has played a key role in gathering data on the dynamic of caste in American workplaces.
