Dated early to mid January 2007.
Not many details are known about this port of Sega Rally 2.
The footage was sourced from an anonymous playtester at Nintendo.
This "port" (mostly emulated code) of Sega Rally 2 was built in only two weeks, mainly with assistance from an unreleased development solution and with "clever porting".
Interestingly, the Wii version uses the original Sega Model 3 release rather than the Dreamcast/PC version.
Playtester Comments:
Mostly stable, a lot of weird polygonal issues.
This build apparently was rewriting the audio system, which explains why the music wouldn't work.
Surprised the accelerator was optional, unlike in Sega Arcade Collection...
Honestly, I'm surprised that the Wii could handle this at all.
