It's not often you get to paddle one of your dream runs, but this is definitely up there on my list of the best in the world. The amount of footage I've watched of this waterfall is nothing short of a lot and to get the opportunity to be lead down by Cameron Broadmore, Andrew Carley, Julian Stocker and Blake Bristow was a dream come true! I didn't get the cleanest lines off the waterfall on the three laps I did that day but god damn I am so grateful I got to experience the raw power of Huka Falls at 77 cubic metres per second (which is a bit above medium flow I think) was absolutely incredible.
Stoked on life is an understatement! Yew!
