An emotional King Charles III left Balmoral this morning alongside his Queen Consort Camilla to travel down to London ahead of his first speech to the nation as monarch. Charles and his wife, who also appeared teary-eyed, remained at the Scottish estate overnight after racing up to be at the bedside of the Queen , whose death was announced to the nation yesterday evening.
