Sedona's Scenic Cruise! We were here last time on January 1st 2025, when the days are way too short and quite chilly. We made it most of the way up pitch 3 as a group of three which super slowed us down, and had to bail due to daylight. This time we're back, in the July heat. Luckily the entire route is in shade until early afternoon! Only started getting a little sun at the top of pitch 5.
Come along for a fun trip up Gibraltar Rock in Sedona on Sedona's Scenic Cruise. Super fun climb with a couple bolted pitches, one of the most horrifying rappels where you have to drop off a little ledge to start over 500 feet of empty space, also had a little adrenaline dump when a foothold almost completely broke on me at the start of pitch 5!
