If you run, sprint, skate, dance, play soccer, football, basketball, or even if you sit for hours a day, it is very possible you have experienced injuries, pain, or tightness in the hamstrings.
Follow along with me as we treat the hamstrings with self-massage, myofascial release, active release, and stretching. We will relax and gently lengthen the hamstrings, setting the stage for healing and recovery.
In order to prevent further injury, make sure you warm up before exercise or athletic activity, and cool down and stretch afterwards. Also make sure you are doing exercises to strengthen your glutes. Weak gluteal muscles are a common cause of hamstring injury.
