For ultimate responsiveness, the Ambassador Clear and Coated have a bright, open sound with focused beater articulation. If you prefer a classic studio sound, the legendary Powerstroke 3 is available from the brightest sounding to the darkest in Clear, Coated, Colortone, White Suede, Fiberskyn, Renaissance, Ebony, and Black Suede. For even more controlled low frequency, Powerstroke 3 with Black Dot is available in both Clear and Coated versions.

Powering heavy music from the beginning, the Emperor Clear and Coated are the perfect combination of durability and power while allowing you to dampen according to your taste. For added control with 2-ply tone and durability, Powerstroke 4 bass drumheads feature an underlay ring to the Emperor construction.

Remo’s newest bass drumheads are the SMT series. SMT stands for Sub-Muffle Technology. Unlike the competition, the SMT are the first externally dampened bass drumheads with a wide tuning range, so you can achieve more than one sound from your bass drum.
