Kansas City fire crews battled a house fire Sunday morning that briefly threatened a neighboring home and sent one firefighter to the hospital with minor injuries. Firefighters were dispatched around 10:49 a.m. to the area of Rochester Avenue and North Garland Avenue, where crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from what appeared to be a vacant house in the 2500 block of Rochester Avenue.
