This year my 4th grader is continuing to use Apologia for science. Apologia is a very thorough and sound science curriculum (we love their biblical worldview curriculum too!). I'm doing a flip through of their new edition of the Zoology 1 course - Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day. It also comes with a notebooking journal that is a wonderful complement to the textbook. It is a very rich and engaging curriculum. You can definitely make it your own by doing as many or as few of the activities and experiments as you'd like!
