Welcome to the very first episode of The Lawn Lift Project!
In this video, I had the chance to help a lovely local family who had recently moved into their new home. Not long after settling in, one of their children became seriously unwell and needed hospital treatment and surgery. As you can imagine, their world turned upside down — and the garden quickly became the last thing on their list.
When the mum reached out to me, she told me she often kept the blinds at the back of the house closed because the overgrown garden had become just another burden on top of everything else they were going through.
So, with my basic tools, very limited gardening experience, and one free Sunday morning , I set out to give their garden a fresh start — a small lift that I hoped might bring a bit of light back into their days.
It was truly a pleasure to be able to help this family, and I wish them all the very best moving forward. ❤️
This project is what The Lawn Lift Project is all about — using my spare time to spread kindness, support people going through tough times, and hopefully make a positive difference, one garden at a time.
