The story comes from the trust and love across time between Steve and Bucky. Seventy years ago, Steve went alone to save Bucky, Bucky could still recognize him at a glance after the big change. Seventy years later, Bucky still can say "I knew him" after many times of brainwashing .
So we can assume that, even in another space or another world, with the love deep in soul , they are still able to recognize each other.
Synopsis:
Shield train Hunters to hunt vampires. Steve woke up from a deep sleep, and received the task of the director -hunting the vampire named Bucky. After seeing Bucky for the first time, Steve stopped continuing his task. Because since then, some fragments emerged into his mind imperceptibly. Those memories seemed to come from the preexistence, he could see himself in the previous life, as well as in the memories of being the Captain America. And in these memories, the figure of Bucky was always there, confusing him as well as letting him feel sweet.
On a mission, as a hunter, Steve saved Bucky, Bucky was surprised at why the enemy saved him. Steve wanted to know if Bucky had recovered the memory, Bucky said he lost all of his memories after becoming a vampire. And Steve could not control his feelings, at the same time, he also hoped that through the combination of their bodies, Bucky could recover his memory (do not ask why there is such a magical setting,I just want them to make love).
As expected, Bucky remembered some of the fuzzy fragments, but the memory fragments of the preexistence were not complete. He could not stand watching Steve suffering to keep their memories himself, so he wanted to find their memories. As a result, he secretly found the presbyters of Vampires , hoping she could help him to find the memory of the past . The presbyters agreed with Bucky at the cost that Bucky has to swear on his tar in soul(taboo in the clan --fall in love with the enemy ) .Then Bucky rememberded everything.
Steve found Bucky, they two agreed to forget each others'identities, fighting together against the pressure from both sides .
Open ending. Perhaps Steve turned Bucky into a person, perhaps he became a vampire, as long as it could be together, nothing will matter.
