Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless TD, opened the European Astronomical Society’s Annual Meeting, the largest astronomy conference ever to occur in Ireland, which sees over 1,500 scientists from across Europe convene in UCC.
While at UCC, the Minister for Higher Education was also interviewed by UCC students, and toured the world leading laboratory led by Professor Séamus Davis that is pioneering insights into Quantum Physics.
