A hike links two peaks on a ridgeline over Ramona. The ascent of Ramona Peak is generally easy leading to a bench on the summit. Summit structures are farther ahead on the edge of the ridge. Heading south on the ridge leads toward Spangler Peak. Despite being a slightly shorter peak, the trail peters out half way there, requiring bushwhacking and large dips and rises on the ridge. Because of that, it raises the overall challenge a bit. Both peaks provide good valley views and a 360 panorama of the surrounding peaks.
