HIDDEN COST of 3D Printing! Scaling up a product from a prototype!

The line between prototype and product can get real ugly, especially with wasted material and time. Many companies struggle to implement 3D printing due to these hidden costs of time and material (and labor) to prove the concept. Chasing clients can sometimes lead nowhere, spending time and money without acquiring them.

It just means that it takes real skill to go from prototype to production. And someone good at prototyping might not be great at production, and vise versa. These skill players exist, but they are hard to find.
