DEAD ISLAND 2 CO-OP EPISODE 5 - WILL THE SEWERS FLUSH US OUT OR BURY US ALIVE?

We return to Sam-B and Ronnie, only to get caught in a deadly water facility heist gone wrong 💧⚡. With caustic pipes spewing poison, fires raging 🔥, and electrified floors shocking at every turn ⚡, survival feels impossible. We twist valves, shut off chemical leaks, and barely dodge the traps. But just when we think we’re safe, Ronnie is slaughtered by Nikki Gutte – a Screamer Apex zombie 🗣️💀. Rage takes over—we grab a rifle from the fireplace 🔫 and unleash chaos, shooting through windows, blowing up fire traps, and mowing down waves of zombies. Ronnie is gone… but we keep fighting.

🐎 Saddle Up for Santa Monica

Next, we prepare for the long road to Santa Monica 🌊🚙. The streets are no safer than the sewers—wreckage, despair, and the undead at every corner. Though brief, this mission feels like gearing up for something bigger. The path ahead isn’t clear, but we’re ready to ride.

Banished from Emma Jaunt’s mansion, we’re forced into the Brentwood Sewers 🕳️. Down in the stinking tunnels, we meet Patton, a scavenger who saves us from a Burster’s explosive ambush 💥🧟. To escape, we must solve pressure puzzles, turning wheels to move caustic water flows and open the sluice gate ⚙️. When the rusty gate finally rises, a horde pours through—and we cut them all down before pushing forward into the unknown.

⚫ The Heart of Darkness

Out of the sewers, the nightmare only deepens. 🕷️ The streets grow darker, the atmosphere heavier, and trust is fading fast. Every step feels like we’re walking deeper into something more sinister than just a zombie outbreak. Shadows loom, both human and infected.

🌫️ The Red Mist

We finally reach the edge of something new—something dangerous. A strange red haze lingers in the air, and inside the next building, we’re about to meet “new friends” 🤝… but whether they’re allies or enemies is a mystery. With weapons ready and nerves tight, we stop here—standing at the door, ready to step into the unknown.
