Welcome to part THREE of our Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Trail journey. We recently embarked on a journey to complete this trail in 4 nights and 5 days. We began our journey to Michigan on an early Saturday morning in September 2025. If you haven't already watched Part one and Part two, please consider checking it them out!
On Day 4 we set out from Chapel Beach CG and hiked 7.3 miles for the day. It was another beautiful day with so much to take in. We camped at Potato Patch campsite #3 for the night. This was a decent CG, but not our favorite. We did enjoy visiting the beach that evening and just relaxing.
On Day 5 we started our day early in an attempt to finish the trail at a decent time for the day. We hiked 8.2 miles and finished just after noon.
This is an amazing trail and I would recommend to anyone. The trail is somewhat easy, well groomed, and easy to navigate.
