Was This Dual 1229 Too Far Gone?Complete Restoration of a Wrecked Vintage 1970's FULL AUTO Turntable

Today we'll be looking at restoring a German made Dual 1229 turntable. We started out with a used and abused unit. Once we found out that it has too many things wrong with it, we ordered a new chassis that was - unfortunately - damaged during shipping. Another round of parts ordered: tonearm, tonearm lift, various levers, a wood plinth, and its running good as new.
