Ganpati Pule Road Trip - Jaigad Fort and Jaigad Light house (दीपगृह ) 😍 | Ep - 6 | Day 3

We travelled to Ganpati pule in Noveber, 2020 during diwali Vacation. Ganpati pule is around 310km from Navi Mumbai. It takes around 8hrs from Bombay -Goa highway to reach there. This place is famous for Ganpati madir. The 400-year-old Ganpati idol at Ganpatipule is said to have sprung up from the soil. This deity faces the west, so as to guard the western gates, unlike deities in other Indian temples who face the east. The vlog includes the complete journey of how we reach Ganpati pule travelling and driving by our own car. Also the darshan of " Amcha Bappa" and then spending my evening at beach beside the temple.

Day 2
Getting up early morning went to Malgund beach which is around 10km from Ganpati pule. This is silent beach and clean beach.
Requesting everyone to do please visit the beach but don't dispose plastic, etc. and make the beach dirty.

This is the fort in Ratnagiri which was build during the Bahanami period. In 1670 Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj won the fort from the hands of Adil Shah of Bijapur. The defence of the fort was improved by Maratha Koli admiral Kanoji Angre. The fort was slipped into the hand of British by 1818. The Bhagavati temple inside was later renovated in 1950.

After that the sight seeing places at Ratnagiri are as follows :

1. Thiba Palace
2. Lokmanya Tilak birthday place
3. Marine Aquarium
4. Gateway of Ratnagiri

Day 3:
I went to Prachin Konkan and to enjoy some scenic view at Bhandarpule Beach. Prachin Konkan is nothing else than the depiction about " What is Konkan?", lifestyle, culture, tradition,etc. In short how " Konkan chi manse are sadhi boli". If you wan to understand the Konkan in short do visit Prachin Konkan.

Then afterwards I left for Jaigad fort. Which as a nice history related to "Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj". something which attracted me about this fort is its history. I also then visited the lighthouse near by. It is also named as Jaigad lighthouse.
