Our Range Rover SDV8 Goodbye: Coolant Leaks and ACE Pipe Drama - L405 L494 S6 - EP 17

In this week’s episode, it’s time to wrap things up with our Range Rover L405 "Queen"!
First, we finish the transmission-out-and-back-in job from a previous video. No drama, everything bolts together perfectly — and the Queen roars back to life!
Next on the list: those corroding ACE pipes. If you own a Range Rover with the Adaptive Cornering system, you know exactly what we’re talking about. We clean off the pipes, treat the corrosion properly with a rust converter, and give them a nice protective coat of paint. Job done!
But... the Queen had one more little problem waiting for us: a stubborn coolant leak in the engine bay. Our earlier attempt with some new O-rings didn’t fix it completely.
So this time, we went all-in: every single coolant pipe in the V of the massive SDV8 engine gets replaced. It's a tricky and messy job, but it gave us the chance to clean the whole V of the engine properly. Ten years' worth of grime, oil residue, and dirt — gone!
Now the block looks absolutely spotless, and most importantly: no more leaks.
Sadly, this will be our last video with our beloved Queen. We sold the car and hope the new owner enjoys this incredible Range Rover just as much as we did. It’s been an amazing ride.
