Late-winter trek in Nepal's Khumbu Valley, Sagarmatha National Park, home of the Sherpa people, Mt. Everest, Everest basecamp trek, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse and many other high and famous mountains. We start in Lukla, home of the infamous short landing strip, then climb the steep hill to Namche Bazar, over to the Sherpa village of Thame, then over 5360m Renjo La with views of three 8000m mountains. From there to Gokyo, over 5400m Cho La pass, down to the main Khumbu trail before deviating to Upper Pangboche, Khumjung, and eventually out through Namche and Lukla again.
