Urgent was written by Mick Jones and was the sixth track and lead single from 4, Foreigner's fourth studio album (also known as Foreigner 4) , released in July 1981. Urgent was peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
