What Do You Need For Your First Track Day? Essentials and extras!

Final prep is underway! We finally get to test out the Turbo NA Miata on a real track at an HPDE day!... Well, almost. There's just a couple things left to do, and we go over them in this video!

This video has a lot of talking, but the cliff notes version will be here in the comments, so you can visually see the list and check off as you do them on your own car!

What do I need for my first track day?

Maintenance:
Oil Change
Trans Fluid
Diff Fluid
Any Leaks? Fix Them!
Is everything tight?!

Tires:
Appropreate tires for the track? Are they dry rotting? Hard? Heat cycled out? Replace them if needed or upgrade to a better tire!

Brakes:
Track/ performance pads
DOT 4 brake fluid AT A MINIMIUM

Food? Water? Clothes? Toiletries? Does the track you're going to have showers if needed? Pack like you're going camping and take everything you think you'll need. Including tools!
